WIDER CHURCH AND COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS

 Friday, July 30, 7:30 PM at the Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts (Kitchener), Benefit Concert for Mennonite Coalition for Refugee Support.  Nicaraguan singer/songwriter Luis Enrique Mejia Godoy and his band Tierra Fértil, enchant audiences around the world with music inspired by a desire for social justice. If you cannot attend the concert, contact MCRS and buy a ticket for a refugee claimant to provide them with the opportunity to attend this great event.  Ontario Mennonite Music Camp
Teens aged 12-16 with a love for music – join us for 12 fun-filled days of music camp. Sunday August 8 to Friday August 20, 2010 at Conrad Grebel University College in Waterloo, Ontario.  For information and application forms visit: grebel.uwaterloo.ca/ommc.

 Five on the Floor Concert
Five on the Floor is giving a farewell concert at St. Jacob’s Church Theatre on Thursday August 26, at 7:30 pm with special guests “House of Doc”.  This is a fundraising event for the Toronto Mennonite Theological Centre and tickets are $50 with a $30 receipt.  Contact 519-885-0220 x24223 or fwmartin@uwaterloo.ca for advanced ticket sales.
