Protocols for joining our DMC live church service on ZOOM
Danforth Mennonite Church converted to zoom church services during the COVID lockdown.
On Sunday, March 6, 2022 we welcomed the congregation back into our church building. We decided to continue with zoom being part of our service.
We spotlight the speakers at the pulpit throughout the service. All other ZOOM participants are muted throughout the service, with the exception of prayer time and announcements. A ZOOM host will identify those zoom participants wishing to speak during this scheduled time. Your prayer requests and announcements will be played through the sanctuary sound system. We do not project the ZOOM participants on the sanctuary projector screen.
In summary, for those of you joining us via ZOOM, it will be much like watching a church service on television with the exception of being able to ask for prayer requests and making announcements.
After the church service, you are welcome to stay on the ZOOM session for some “lobby” chat time.
