Danforth Mennonite Church

is a welcoming group of people

guided by our vision:

“Growing in the Spirit: Caring, Serving, Renewing.” 

The church uses its building for its own programs, but it also rents its building to other churches and community groups, according to its “Building Use Policy” (copies of the policy are available by contacting the office.)

The entrance on the left has a ramp that leads to the lower hall.

The entrance on the right (most commonly used) enters into the lower lobby.

There are coat racks located outside the lower hall and the main auditorium.

At the lower lobby (street entrance) there are stairs to the lower and upper levels.  The elevator stops at all levels.

Main auditorium

Our main auditorium comfortably seats 100 people.  We have a full audio and video equipment system which can be run by one of our staff for your meeting.

We have a piano in the lower hall and in the main auditorium.

Our lower hall has seating for 100 people.

 

We have an assortment of table sizes –

4’ x 4’, 3’ x 6’, 3’ x 8’

The kitchen

Our kitchen has

2 stoves with ovens

1 refrigerator

1 microwave oven

a set of triple and double sinks

There are two pass through openings from the kitchen.

The corridor has folding shelves, perfect for buffet style dinners.

With permission, tablecloths, glassware, plates, utensils are available for use on-site.

Washroom facilities

We have three washrooms – one off the upper lobby and two outside of the lower hall.  One washroom on each floor will easily accommodate wheelchairs.  Grab bars are mounted on the walls.  One washroom has a shower stall.

Our location

We are located 2 blocks east of the Woodbine subway station.

There is metered parking on Danforth Avenue (free after 6:00 pm weeknights.)  There is also a GreenP and grocery parking lot around the corner from the church on Cedarvale Avenue.
